WHY GO TO THE QATAR GRAND PRIX

Since being drafted in to replace the cancelled Australian race in 2021, Qatar has definitely become part of the Formula 1 furniture. In the thrilling debut race Fernando Alonso earned a podium finish while Lewis Hamilton won one of his two most recent victories. Hamilton's last win came in the next round in Saudi Arabia - over three years ago.

Held again in 2023, Max Verstappen surged to victory, but just behind him battled the two McLarens who also made the podium.

2024 will only be the third ever edition of this exciting Grand Prix, which has already earned a reputation for incredibly watchable races, with a unique Arabian desert backdrop.

The track is easily reachable from the Qatari capital city Doha, which held the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Well practiced in putting on large international sporting events, Doha offers a wealth of decent hotels at reasonable prices, and is very well connected internationally.
